The Souper Bowl of Caring utilizes Super Bowl weekend in America to mobilize young people to fight hunger and poverty in their local communities.  It's vision is to transform Super Bowl weekend, Feb 4-5, into America's largest youth-led weekend of giving and serving.  Young people collect monetary and food donations during the week leading up to Super Bowl Sunday. 100% of the money and food is then given directly to local charities of the group's choice.  This years charity will be the South Florence Baptist Chruch's Food Pantry.  Hopefully we will receive enough food to give out during the 2012 church year.  Bring your can goods Sunday evening during the church wide Suyper Bowl Fellowship.  This is a church wide project.  Let's focus on feeding the hungry.  See you at the Souper Bowl Fellowship February 5, 2012 at 6:00 p.m.
