Tonight, January 23, 2008, our newest member Tammy Allen was commissioned as a Short Term Missionary to represent our fellowship in a village called Naro in Burkina Faso, Africa. Tammy flies out of Raleigh-Durham Airport at 1:51 PM Thursday and arrives in Naro 7:00 AM (Local Time) Saturday Morning. While in Burkina Faso, Tammy a Registered Nurse, will be ministering to the locals by administering vaccines, starting IV medication, and general wound care for the locals. Tammy will also take an active role in the worship services by participating and leading in song. She will be presenting the gospel at every opportunity she has. Tammy will return to Raleigh-Durham Airport at 9:00 PM Sunday, February 3rd.
