The Sidekicks Ministry is a vibrant community for senior adults at SFBC, created to encourage connection, friendship, and spiritual growth in this meaningful season of life. Sidekicks offers regular opportunities to gather, laugh, share stories, and enjoy life together through monthly lunches, local outings, and uplifting fellowship.

The Sidekicks Ministry exists to help senior adults stay connected, encouraged, and growing in their faith through meaningful friendships and regular fellowship.

What We Do

The Sidekicks Ministry provides meaningful fellowship for senior adults through annual trips, quarterly events, and regular opportunities to connect. Sidekicks creates space for seniors to build friendships, enjoy fun outings, share life together, and stay encouraged in their walk with Christ, all while remaining active and connected within the church family.

Our Hearts

Our heart for the Sidekicks Ministry is to honor and uplift senior adults by giving them a place to belong, connect, and thrive. We want every Sidekick to feel valued, encouraged, and deeply loved as they enjoy meaningful friendships, fun experiences, and spiritual growth. Sidekicks is our way of celebrating this season of life and reminding seniors that they are an essential, cherished part of our church family.

SideKicks Outing to Millers Bread Basket

October 9th, 2026 @ 9AM

Our Sidekicks Ministry is heading to Miller's Bread Basket on October 9th for a wonderful day of food, fellowship, and fun!

We will depart from the church at 9:00 AM. This will be a great opportunity to enjoy time together, build friendships, and make lasting memories.
