Our Mission & Purpose

South Florence Baptist Daycare provides loving, safe, and nurturing care for children from 6 weeks to 4 years old. We are committed to offering high quality, developmentally appropriate, curriculum based childcare that supports each child’s social, cognitive, physical, and emotional growth.

Monday - Friday: 6:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Closed Saturday & Sunday

 

A-Beka Program 

We provide the A‑Beka Education Program. A trusted Christian phonics curriculum and one of the most widely used programs among churches and private kindergartens. A‑Beka offers a strong, faith‑based foundation that helps children build confidence in reading, language, and early learning skills.”

SC State Laws and Reguations 

Our facility carefully follows all laws and regulations set by the State of South Carolina, including strict child to staff ratios, comprehensive health and safety standards, and full fire safety compliance. We maintain a secure environment at all times, and there is always a trained staff member on site who is certified in CPR and First Aid to ensure the highest level of care and protection for every child.

Amanda has served faithfully as the Daycare Director at South Florence Baptist Church for more than two decades, providing exceptional leadership and unwavering dedication to the children and families entrusted to her care. Her extensive experience in early childhood education and ministry has shaped a program known for its excellence, compassion, and Christ‑centered values.

Under her guidance, the daycare has grown into a nurturing environment where children are encouraged to learn, explore, and develop spiritually, emotionally, and academically. Her commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, professionalism, and faith‑based instruction reflects her deep love for both the Lord and the families she serves.
